Description

Owing to our rich experience and knowledge of this domain, we are engaged in supplying and trading the best quality of Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA). Its compositional accuracy, optimum purity and enhanced shelf life, make this isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) highly appreciated. With the aid of our wide distribution network, we ensure timely delivery of the offered chemical. We are prominent importers & suppliers of isopropyl alcohol in india. The packing comes in Tanker Load as well as Barrels.

The chemical is the result of a combination of water and propylene. There are two processes for achieving this:

  • Indirect hydration via the sulfuric acid process
  • Direct hydration.

The chemical is cheaply available, dries quickly and relatively non toxic. It is also used as a solvent in cleaning liquid. It is also used by many music shops to give second-hand or worn records newer looking sheens. Isopropyl alcohol cleans white boards very well and other unwanted ink related marks. Isopropyl Alcohol is a colorless, flammable chemical compound with a strong odor. It is the simplest example of a secondary alcohol, where the alcohol carbon atom is attached to two other carbon atoms sometimes shown as (CH3)2CHOH. It is a structural isomer of propanol. Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is denatured for certain uses.

Applications:

  • Used in Synthetic polymers
  • It is used in Cements, primers, paints, and inks
  • It is used in Manufacturing of electronic parts, for metals and photographic films and papers, in glass cleaners, liquid soaps & detergents, and in aerosols
  • Pharmaceutical products: (incl. massage solutions)
