It is not easy to extract Polybutene KVIS 10 from the elastomer by solvents as the mineral oil can be easily extracted using solvents. Also, polybutenes are impenetrable to exudation by heat ageing. Therefore, Polybutene KVIS 10 impart their properties permanently to the rubber.
